Overview

To better support students, faculty, and staff, the University of Florida has begun building and using AI-powered solutions. One of these solutions is NaviGator Assistant, an embeddable chat assistant that helps users find answers from a curated knowledge base of documents.

Technical Overview

My Role

Lead Developer. I spearheaded the frontend development of NaviGator Assistant from inception to completion. This involved architecting the overall structure, detailing its implementation, and developing it in close collaboration with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA analysts to ensure a seamless, responsive, and accessible experience that met the needs of both stakeholders and end users.
